Winning artwork of Bridgeton students from Watson & Henry Associate’s twentieth annual Preservation Month Art Contest showcases the talent in our schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. The juried contest is intended to help students appreciate the rich stock of historic architecture in Bridgeton, with the hope that an interest awakened in our young people will stay with them through life. First, second and third prizes are awarded in five age categories. In addition, each spring Watson & Henry Associates awards a scholarship to a graduating senior who is continuing on in art or architecture studies; a prerequisite for scholarship eligibility is having won an award in the Preservation Month Art Contest at one time in the student’s school career.
