Artists Matt Pinney, Zach Kainz, Jennifer Maghan White,
Jesse Harrington, Joshua Koffman, John Greig,
Clete Shields and Jeff Dentz were called upon by an injured friend with two weeks to spare to replace his one-man show. Not quite knowing where they would go with it, they stared a conversation that happily ended up with on heck of a killer show. Sculptures, paintings, mixed media all speaking to each other in a wonderful conversation. All are alumni of The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and work in styles that benefit from classical training but are not necessarily classical. Matt Pinney takes large format Chromogenic color photographs and paints on top of them to make an interesting interpretation of the scene.
He also has several paintings done in the old fashioned method of oil paint on linen. The rest of the group are sculptors. Works were large, small and in between. They were bronze, plaster and mixed media. It was truly an exciting show that was enjoy by all.
