Our annual college exhibition showcased students from area colleges. Work was, as always, original, consisting of paintings and sculptures.

LIA SEMENUK from Swarthmore, PA and creates art in the style of Japanese manga and anime. She uses a variety of media including pencil, ink, watercolor, and sculpture, as well as art sketched directly into a computer with use of a tablet and stylus. Lia's influences range from classical portraiture to Abstract Expressionism, from petroglyphs to Mad Magazine—anywhere within the range between high art and low art where stories can be conveyed with imagery.
