THE CHOICE TO BE… by Bridgeton Municipal Alliance –Youth to Youth Summer Peer Leader Academy under the guidance of Karen Barnett and photographed by Donevan Bunting. Social issues / Alter Egos teens struggle with have been staged and photographed as commentary of choices youth make when deciding who they want to become. Each participant chose two opposing characters and wrote a narrative about their characters. Photographs of each character were merged into one image representing the possibilities to choose which individual you become is a matter of "choice."
Many gallery viewers have been emotionally moved by this exhibit.

Clockwise from top left: "Having Faith vs Faiths", "In The Closet vs.Coming Out of The Closet ", "Being In The Crowd or Being Out ", "Under the Influence or In Control", by Bridgeton's Youth-to-Youth
