Anthony Thompson, ASMA, ISMP

Anthony Thompson’s paintings are of 19th and early 20th century maritime subjects, local landscapes and contemporary costal scenes. He is is an official Coast Guard Artist and a member of the Nautical Research Guild, the American Society of Marine Artists and the International Society of Marine Painters. Mr. Thompson was a featured summer artist at the Mystic Seaport Maritime Gallery and an annual contributor to their International and Modern Marine Masters shows. His work was part of the Maritime Art America exhibit featuring many of America's top contemporary marine artists at the Riverfront Arts Center in Wilmington, Delaware. Mr. Thompson’s paintings are in the collections of the Bucks County Conservatory, Immaculata College and the United States Coast Guard and have been exhibited nationally. Publications featuring Mr. Thompson’s work include Rockport publication, "A Gallery of Marine Art" and he has been featured in the "Bucks County Town and Country Living" magazine. He will be conducting this month’s workshop - a discussion of marine art and a hands-on painting session.
