About Kathy Baldissero

I reside in Pittsgrove, NJ with my husband Rich. I’m a graduate of Glassboro State College with a B,A in Art. After teaching art in Vineland (my hometown) for 33 yrs., I retired in June of 2005. We have a son and daughter, a daughter-in-law, son-in-law and two grandsons. They are perfect works of art in our book.

I consider myself a multi-media artist since I work in acrylics, stained glass, ceramics and mosaics. I try just about anything to create art for the enjoyment of myself and others. Stained glass has been a joy to work with for the past 37 yrs. I’ve created glass jewelry for 12 yrs. The Clay College in Millville has been a great experience after retirement from school, since I love to work 3-dimentionally. I have made stained glass for various pieces of furniture that my husband has made. He has made many of the frames for my paintings and glass panels.

My work has been displayed at Fath Gallery, various Society of NJ Artists shows, Gallery 50, Hammonton, Vineland Community Art Alliance, Riverfront Renaissance Center and Clay College in Millville. I’ve won multiple awards and recognition over the years. I volunteer at Gallery 50 and it has been a wonderful place to share my art with the public.

Creativity is a blessing I don’t take for granted. I try my best to share it with anyone and everyone. It’s capturing a piece of beauty from the world that can last forever.
