“This show gets better and better every year!” - heard twice from different people last Saturday as the entries for both shows lined the gallery waiting to be judged and hung. People from three states entered the Plein Air show and braved the heat to paint en Plein Air. I would not like to be a judge for either show because it would be so hard to choose a winner. You, however will have just that opportunity if come to our opening night reception on Friday, September 2, 2016, 6 – 9 PM. We have a “People’s Choice” award that needs your vote! 

This year, Plein Air entrants were restricted to the limits of our city’s park. The work is both exciting and different from years past.  As a small challenge to yourself, see if you can figure out where the subjects are located. 

In our main gallery, that may be more of a challenge as paintings stretch over eight counties. Both shows are a lovely homages to Southern New Jersey.

Both shows run from August 31 - September 30, 2016. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 11 AM – 4 PM.
