March is our annual exhibition for the members of the Society of New Jersey Artists at Gallery 50, Inc., 50 E. Commerce St. in Bridgeton, NJ. The SNJA has been in existence since 1948 and was founded by a group of artists in Greenwich, NJ. Today they have 40 active members. The SNJA mission statement is “To foster a knowledge and appreciation of the arts.” This year’s show: “Image and Object: An Experience," allows the artists an opportunity to create what pleases them most.
Local artists exhibiting are: Sue Mounier of Newfield; Roseann Amaranto, Ellen Brown, and Paul Amaranto of Bridgeton; Deborah Roy Roberts of Malaga; Maria Payer of Pilesgrove; Judith Scull, Lynn Martini, and Paula Pagliughi of Vineland; Katherine Pokorny, Linda Robinson, Natalie Barringer of Millville, Stephen Lewis formally of Fortescue and Meed Barnett of Cologne.
